Melodi’s Makes a Move to the South College Shopping Center

Melodi’s Belles & Beaus is a local infant and children’s store owned and managed by Melanie & Erica Cunningham. Melodi’s opened in 2007 and after almost 8 wonderful years in the Oil Center on Harding Street, they have relocated to the South College Center near Twin’s Burgers and Sweets! An established shopping center on the corner of South College and Johnston Street, that was once home to Landry’s Young Fashions more than two decades ago, will now be "home sweet home" for Melodi’s Belles & Beaus. Melanie & Erica are so thrilled to be bringing a children’s store back to this center.  While continuing to specialize in girl’s and boy’s clothing, Melodi’s is excited to have 500 square feet more of floor space to expand their girl’s tween lines, gift lines, and bring their boy’s lines up to size 6 for Fall 2015. “We are speechless at the amount of support and excitement that the community has showered our new location with,” said Erica Cunningham.  Melanie says their joy over the new location is tripled by the amount of excitement they feel surrounding the developments of the Horse Farm, located right next to South College Center. “We are excited that the store is so close to such a wonderful development for the people of Lafayette and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Melodi’s in this new location!”
