Cuban Acadiana

Jeanerette Museum presents Cuban Acadiana, a talk about the Cuban exiles who escaped Castro communism and located in Acadiana. Trent Angers, who was nominated twice for the Nobel Prize in Literature, will lead this talk at 6 p.m. on November 8 at the Jeanerette Museum located at 500 E. Main St., Jeanerette. Included in the talk will be information on the international organization formed in Jeanerette, the Caribbean-American Freedom League. This history talk is being held free of charge and is suitable for an adult audience. Seating may be limited and taken on a first come, first serve basis.
