Poetry by Candlelight

It's more than just poetry; Poetry by Candlelight is THE preferred adult nightlife. Once again, we're bringing big city entertainment to Morgan City with some of South Louisiana's most dynamic poetry/spoken word artists, talented singers, and comedians. The public is welcome to perform original (or non-original work with proper citation) spoken word, poetry, song(S) or comedic skills on stage. In the past, PBC coordinators welcomed State Poet Laureate (former) Dr. Julie Kane and Ava Leavell Haymon to perfrom in front of an audience in St.Mary Parish where the arts is at the heart of this community.
