VITA will be offering another round of our free classes called “Preparing for the Citizenship Test.” The ten-week fall course will be held on Mondays beginning September 11 from 1:30—5:30 p.m. and continue through November 13. Classes will be held in our office downtown, which is located in the former Whitney Bank building. The ten-week course will prepare students for the U.S. citizenship test through reading and writing practice, the N-400 application, the 100 civics questions, and interview skills.
We also have another opportunity on September 19 from 10:00—11:30 a.m. Community Relations Officer Anne M. Hackett from the USCIS office in New Orleans will be coming to VITA to review the naturalization process and test, how to prepare for the naturalization interview and test, and common mistakes to avoid.Visit Event Website for More Info
