Acadiana Out of the Darkness Walk

The walk is 2 rounds in Girard Park. Register online at www.outofthedarkness.org or day of the walk beginning at 8AM. Walk begins at 9AM. Jambalaya will be sold for $5 per bowl starting at 10AM. Raffle and Silent Auction will take place after the walk along with remembrance ceremony closing out the days events. Funds raised from The Out of the Darkness Walks allow us to fund research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss in our communities. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention leads the fight against suicide. AFSP has pledged to provide education and prevention as the key to reducing the suicide rate 20% by 2025.
