Maypole Festival
Beaumont Botanical Gardens
The Maypole Festival is a fundraiser for the Beaumont Botanical Gardens and is held every spring on the Saturday before Mother's Day. It is an annual blessing of the crops and celebration of the arts for young and old alike. Visitors can stroll through the garden with mystical fairies and shop local food and art vendors. Children can enjoy carnival games, face painting, and feeding the giant koi in the outdoor fish pond. Bring your own blanket and picnic in the Gardens while enjoying a variety of live entertainment. Be sure to meet our Featured Festival Artist, and view the winning submissions from our local school art contest. A cash bar is available for adults in a designated area.
The festival ends with the Blessing of the Crops, followed by the Maypole dance at 5 PM to wrap the Maypole.
