FESTIVAL DES FLEURS CELEBRATES 25 YEARS

Come join us for the 25th anniversary of Festival des Fleurs Garden Show and Sale to be held Saturday and Sunday, April 2-3, 2016 at Blackham Coliseum located at 2330 Johnston Street in Lafayette. Gardeners will delight in the wide selection of plants available for sale, as well as, garden books, pottery, tools, art, gifts, and ornamental garden pieces. Educational displays by the Bonsai, Orchid, and Daylily Societies will be featured along with the Lafayette Garden Club’s judged flower show themed "Celebrating Acadiana's Music". Door prizes will be awarded every hour and be sure to take a chance on the drawing for a great prize. Children are welcome and encouraged to participate in the children’s activities. Proceeds from the event benefit the Ira Nelson Horticulture Center, an instructional laboratory facility of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The center’s goal is to educate the community and students about all aspects of horticulture. Hours are 8am to 4pm on Saturday, April 2nd and from 11am – 3pm Sunday, April 3rd. Admission is $5.00 (under 12 free) or $4.00 with a Festival des Fleurs coupon.
