Infant Mortality Awareness & Remembrance Service
When a family loses a child, it is also a loss for the entire community. Please join us for an intimate ceremony remembering all of Acadiana’s babies who have died too soon. This event is for everyone, even if you have not directly experienced pregnancy or infant loss. We want to support families and acknowledge their grief. Together we can bring awareness to the impact that losing a child has on all of us. The event will begin at the city council meeting at LCG followed by a procession to St. John Cemetery Plaza.
