13 Reasons Why Forum & Suicide Prevention Training

The Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why, raises concerns about the potential risks posed by the graphically depicted topics of suicide, bullying, rape, & drunk driving. Because of this, we are offering a forum where local counselor, Melissa Bowen, MS, LPC will speak to parents about the content, and how to open up a meaningful dialogue about the series. Following this presentation, Tiffany Capps, MS, LPC with the Jacob Crouch Foundation will provide a FREE training to help people recognize suicide warning signs and know how to react in the event of a suicide crisis. Both parents and teens encouraged to attend. Counselors will be onsite to answer any questions.
