New Iberia Beneath the Balconies 2017

Iberia Preservation Alliance and the Main Street Program, will take place this year Sunday, October 22, 2017, on Downtown Main Street, New Iberia. Delicious food, signature drinks, and toe tapping music will be featured at the Shadows-on-the-Teche starting at 12:00 noon that day and will continue until the first performance at 2 PM on the Shadows Front Gallery, " New Iberia Beneath The Balconies " will continue until 5 PM , highlighting theatrical performances on the balconies of New Iberia's award winning Main Street. In this special presentation, preservation and performance meet on Main Street , allowing residents and tourists alike to admire historic architecture while delighting in live theatre, comedy, and music, moving from one balcony to the next behind the rhythm of a great funeral jazz band, the Bunk Johnson Brazz Band.
