Infant Mortality Remembrance Service

Star Light, Star Bright, Remembering Our Babies Tonight.

In 2016, Louisiana lost 510 babies before their 1st birthday. This doesn’t include miscarriages, stillbirths, or children who died after they turned one year old. We want to take this time during National Infant Mortality Awareness Month to honor all of those children and their families. We support them through their pain and longing to have their children for just one more hour. We want families to know that although their children may no longer walk this earth, we keep their memory alive everyday in our hearts.

This very special service will end with a lantern release in the infant area of Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. If you would like to be a part of this very special occasion, please click on the link to reserve a lantern in honor of the loss of a child or pregnancy. This event is FREE and open to the public.
