Nutcracker Auditions

Lafayette Ballet Theatre with Principal dancers from the Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the entire dance community presents the full length Holiday classic, THE NUTCRACKER. AUDITIONS are open to students 8 years and over, with at least one full year of ballet training and is currently studying ballet in an established dance program. ROLES include: Act I -Party Scene: male and female children /adults, Battle Scene: soldiers and rats. Act II- angels, candy canes, peppermints, polichinelles, all Land of the Sweets variations. Roles in Snow scenes and Waltz of the Flowers are open to qualified advanced level female dancers - pointe shoes required. 11:00am - 2:30pm AGES: 15 yrs. to professional. (Advanced pointe work, 11:00 - 2pm) 2:00 - 2:30, Ages 15 yrs. to professional. (Advanced variations not on pointe)
