Nicole LaCour to Showcase the Spirit of HOLI

Nicole LaCour will showcase her work at Gallery R, beginning at the 2nd Saturday ArtWalk in Downtown Lafayette on January 9, 2016. LaCour is a local designer, photographer and writer. While, working as a graphic designer for a local non-profit, she continues to paint and capture life through her lens. The collection to be featured at Gallery R is culled from three years of documentation of the Acadiana Indian Association’s HOLI festival. The monotone prints are meant to show expressions of energy, the spirit of renewal, and fun that is HOLI. 2nd Saturday ArtWalk is a monthly event that invites the public to explore the Downtown Lafayette Cultural District as art galleries display works by local and regional artists. The event features galleries, museums, restaurants, and shops offering live music, food, drink, and art for purchase. The upcoming ArtWalk will take place on January 9, 2016 from 6PM to 9PM.
