According to a report from Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners has suspended the medical license of Dr. Kevin Govan Work, an abortionist who has reportedly worked at Delta Women's Clinic in Baton Rouge and Women's Healthcare Center in New Orleans.

Work's current troubles stem from authorizing his nurse to use his signature to say he had seen patients that he had not seen. Other office troubles include his nurse, who allegedly giving abortion-inducing pills to a pregnant woman who came in for an ultrasound. In all, D
r. Kevin Work has been suspended on four separate occasions.

In 2017, Dr. Work told
the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners he was unable to satisfy a condition from an earlier consent order but asked to have his medical license reinstated for the area of wound care. His license was reinstated on probation for two years from June 20, 2017, on the condition that he only practice wound care, not abortion.

Work's latest suspension comes after LA Attorney General Jeff Landry sent a letter the LA Governor Jon Bel Edwards, raising serious questions about threats to women’s health and safety,  demanding action on this issue. A copy of the letter is attached to this page.

Work's suspension is currently under investigation.
