Lafayette Ceremony Honors 9/11 Victims and Heroes

Today [09/11/2017] marks the 16th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. A ceremony was held this morning at the Parc Sans Souci 9/11 Memorial in Downtown Lafayette to honor the victims and heroes of the tragic event. 

The Lafayette Fire Departments Honor Guard, various military personnel, multiple law enforcement agencies, first responders, retired veterans, and community members were on hand to place a wreath at the memorial and observe a moment of silence & prayer in honor of those who lost their lives.
