LA Foundation for Cancer Care To Host "Survivors under the Stars"

The Louisiana Foundation for Cancer Care, a local nonprofit serving cancer survivors in Acadiana, announces a breast cancer celebration coming to Lafayette. Survivors under the Stars will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Paul and Lulu Hilliard Museum in Lafayette. We welcome breast cancer survivors, family, friends and health care providers to attend this night of celebration. The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a lovely reception, followed by our keynote speaker, Julie Larson LCSW. This is the 4th year that we have invited Julie to Lafayette to speak on important topics concerning cancer survivorship. The evening will end with the lighting of the luminaries to honor /celebrate breast cancer survivors in Acadiana. All funds raised will go to the Louisiana Foundation for Cancer Care to provide support, assistance, and educational programs to cancer patients, families, medical professionals and community which promote quality of life.
